Today's Event
On August 15, 2025, Rajendra Vidyalaya was filled with a vibrant sense of patriotism as we celebrated the 79th Independence Day. The campus was alive with the spirit of "Freedom in the Mind, Faith in the Words, Pride in our Souls."
The celebration commenced with the prestigious **flag hoisting ceremony**, a solemn and proud moment for all. The national flag was unfurled by our esteemed Chief Guest, Dr. S.K. Singh, Vice President and Head of Education, Bihar Association, alongside our respected Principal, Mrs. Anita Tiwari. Dr. Singh addressed the students and faculty, emphasizing the significance of our hard-won freedom and the sacrifices of our freedom fighters. He urged the students to embrace their patriotism and contribute positively to the nation's future.
Following the hoisting, students presented a magnificent cultural showcase. Junior and senior students alike performed heartfelt patriotic songs, while a variety of impressive dance presentations celebrated the themes of peace and national harmony.
The highlight of the event was the powerful speeches delivered by students Nikhil Pandey (in English) and Ritika Singh (in Hindi). Their words resonated with the audience, encouraging their peers to uphold discipline, pursue excellence in their studies, and show respect for one another - qualities they highlighted as essential for making India a great nation. The speeches also paid tribute to the extraordinary courage of our freedom fighters.
The youngest students stole the show with a touching patriotic parade that charmed everyone present.
The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks, leaving everyone with a deep sense of pride and gratitude for the freedom we enjoy. It was a day to remember, filled with unity and a shared hope for a stronger and more prosperous India.

The Pre-Independence Day celebration at Rajendra Vidyalaya's pre-primary section was a huge success. The day began with a prayer ceremony, setting the tone for a day filled with patriotism and joy. Our little leader from KG led the patriotic parade, inspiring everyone with their enthusiasm.
The toddler's dance performance was indeed thrilling, and it was wonderful to see all the children participating in the dance with such energy and excitement. The event was a great way to instill a sense of national pride and awareness about India's history in the young minds.
Kudos to the school and teachers of primary section for organizing such a meaningful and engaging event!
