Graduation day, 2025

Rajendra Vidyalaya, premier institute in Jamshedpur hosted its Graduation Ceremony by bidding a fond farewell to the outgoing class XII batch of 2024-25 with great enthusiasm. The event started with the welcome speech given by students Aditya Pandey and Bhumika Jha. Lighting of the lamp was done by School Secretary, Mr. Amresh Sinha, General Secretary, Bihar Association, Mr. C.P.N. Singh, Dr. S.K. Singh, Vice President, Bihar Association, Honourable Principal Madam, Mrs. Anita Tiwari, Vice Principal, Senior Incharge and Junior Incharge. Mr. Amresh Sinha in his address emphasized that education is not just about academics but also about contributing to society, becoming responsible citizens, and showing generosity and empathy. Dr. S.K. Singh, Vice President, Bihar Association emphasized the three C’s – Communicate, Create, and Creativity, which he wishes to see in the next generation.

The programme inside the auditorium began with the welcome address by the Principal, Mrs. Anita Tiwari, who applauded the batch as being one of the brightest ones. She appreciated their efforts in enthusiastically participating in varied competitions and raising the bar of perfection. She wished them luck to make a mark in the world outside, carrying forth the school motto of ‘Appa Deepo Bhavo’, meaning ‘be your own light’.

The highlight of the function was the beautiful cultural presentation. The students of Class XI put forth a mix of scintillating dance performances, entertaining theatre, melodious songs, and pulsating music that rocked the auditorium. Ansh was declared as Mr. Rajendra Vidyalaya and Sabhayata Singh was declared as Miss Rajendra Vidyalaya.

The members of the Head Council delivered speeches expressing gratitude to their mentors and teachers for their invaluable contribution in making the journey a memorable one. The heart-touching display of the video made everyone feel nostalgic about the beautiful time they had spent in the school. After the cultural programme, everyone assembled in the Assembly area for dance and refreshments. The students danced to their heart’s content to the music belted out by the DJ. Many were seen clicking pictures of friends and teachers, capturing memories of school forever.

Thus ended a beautiful morning marked with both happiness and sorrow.

The event was a fiesta devoted to the years spent together with friends and teachers to reminisce joyous moments. The event could not have been possible without the immense coordination of teacher Rupa Dutta and Mr. Jitendra, who were the overall in-charge of the event.
